8-29-2016 Basic iPad Troubleshooting
Everyone:
This morning one of our 6th graders had a “frozen” iPad. The screen wouldn’t unlock and it wouldn’t shut down. This happens periodically, and for the MOST part one of the following things will fix the problem (it fixed his this morning – yay!)
- Try a soft reset. Hold down the lock button (top right corner) and the home button (circle in the center bottom) until you hopefully see the apple logo.
- If that doesn’t work, get a charger and plug it into the wall. Hold down the home button and keep holding it down while you plug it into the charger. Hold it for about 2-3 seconds after you have the charger cord plugged in.
Thank you,
