9/26/16 Problems with Apps and Single App Mode
Everyone:
About half the students who came in this morning just needed a sync command sent to them, which is good. We were able to take care of that pretty quickly. However the other half that stayed behind with greater problems needed to either enter their password for the app store and/or accept the license terms. PLEASE stress to every class this week the importance of entering the password EVERY time it asks. Also they need to accept any new license agreements that pop up on the screen as well. We have told them, of course, but they don’t listen, of course.
On Friday we were able to look at two different logs for an iPad that didn’t have all the apps downloaded and that was the problem. If they don’t enter their password the apps get stuck in never-never land. iBoss is currently working on a way to revoke the app and re-push them automatically, but it is impossible to know how long that will take or if it will even work.
