9/19/16 Elementary Student Lists

Everyone:
Student lists are complete and as accurate as I can get them. I’m not sure they are perfect, but they do match the latest list I received from Imelda. If there are any errors let me know and I’ll get t hem fixed asap.
Open your S: drive. (Start → Computer → S: Drive). If it doesn’t look like the picture to the right you need to LOG OFF and log back on.
- Double-click Password Lists. This is where you will find all the password lists for the students in the district.
- When you open ESStudents note that there are tabs at the bottom for each grade. I separated them to make things a little easier for my reports.
- Note that there is a folder at the top named ESPrint. Here you will find documents you can print to keep in a box to hand out to your students when necessary. I have two sizes for each class – Note card size (Avery 8387 or any Postcard with 4 per page) and Business card size (any compatible with Avery Business Cards). You can purchase these and print directly on them, or you can just print them on cardstock and cut them out yourself. Note that the Note cards go all the way to the edge of the page so watch your screen and/or your printer when you print them – you may get a message that you have to skip past.
- For any future students: I will add them to the password list but you will need to go ahead and type and print new cards. You cannot save anything in these folders, so make sure you copy your documents to your computer before you make any changes.
- DO NOT copy the password list (in Excel) to your computer or print it out. While both of those things may seem easier on the surface, remember that when new students enter your class or any other changes are made you won’t be able to see them unless you use the list directly from the S: drive.
Thank you,
