   The year is 2101.  In the last 100 years NASA has perfected space travel.   NASA has hired your travel agency to promote space travel to Mars, Venus, and Mercury.  Your travel agency has been struggling financially.  You will need to  have 70 customers to keep your agency from going bankrupt. If you can sign up 90 to 100 customers, you can  retire and live on any planet in our solar system. 

     It is your job to sell travel tickets to Mars, Venus, and Mercury.  You and your staff will make brochures for each planet to pass out to potential customers.  This brochure must include several drawings of what they could see on the three planets.  You must also come up with several tours your passangers can take to see the different sights of the planets.

        Your staff will have three days to make a brochure that gives information about Mars, Venus, and Mercury.    I have divided the class into groups of three.  Each group will have an editor, a researcher, and an artist.  The artist is responsible for finding, or drawing  pictures on the brochures.   The researcher will be in charge of getting information from the Internet sites to put on the brochure.  The editor will assist the other two and be the team captain.  You may use any of the materials from the lab table to complete the project.  Below is a site you can get pictures and information from.
