Hall of Distinguished Graduates

|
| Friona Independent School District is pleased to
announce the creation of the Friona High School "Hall of
Distinguished Graduates." The purpose is to honor and
recognize former graduates who have exhibited strong personal
character and integrity while attaining prominence in their elected
fields of endeavor and through their accomplishments have had a
positive impact on society. FHS principal Denver Crum said the school would like to honor any graduate that has exemplified the above traits. "We chose the name Hall of Distinguished Graduates instead of Hall of Fame to get away from a strictly sports connotation." Nominees must meet the following criteria: gained recognition and prominence in his/her field of endeavor; person of good character and integrity; and positive impact on society. To be eligible a nominee must be a Friona High School graduate (eligible 10 years after graduation), or an individual who has made exceptional contributions to Friona High School. If you would like to nominate a candidate who meets the above criteria and eligibility, please contact Denver Crum at 806-250-3951 and request a Friona High School "Hall of Distinguished Graduates" nominee application form.
