This program was developed for fourth grade girls to help promote the development of positive attitudes about menstruation and to share basic information on the normal developmental changes that occur during early adolescence.

Hygiene Program
This annual program was developed to include Kindergarten through third grade students.  Classroom teaching stresses the importance of good hygiene at an early age.  This program includes a fun demonstration in the steps of washing our body and shampooing our hair.  Shampoos, lotions, and soaps were donated by parents and community members to be given to the children.  Each grade level receives a different item.

Annual Screening

Annual screening includes vision, hearing, and dental on all students from Pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.  Height and weight on each student is recorded twice a year.  Scoliosis screening occurs with fifth grade students.
